In August, the main import sources of vapes into the United States is Chinese vapes(54.3%) and Indonesia vapes (41.5%). Chicago (43.7%), Charlotte (40.4%), and San Francisco (5.9%), Miami (4.4%) are the main import ports.
In addition, the import share of Charlotte Port increased significantly in August. Chicago and Charlotte Ports became the two main vape import poles in the United States.
In August, the China Customs data shows that China vape exports to the United States were US$252 million. While the U.S. International Trade Commission announced that vapes from China were US$37.571 million, which was only 14.89% of China’s vape exports data to the United States.
