In September, China exported approximately US$15.58 million in vapes to France. The export value shows a month-on-month increase of 4.89% and a year-on-year increase of 2.14%.

The export volume of vapes from China to France in September was approximately 271 tons. It is an increase of 6.53% month-on-month and 27.43% year-on-year.
The unit price of Chinese vape to France in September was US$57.45/kg. The price goes down 1.53% month-on-month and 19.85% year-on-year. Moreover, the average price of “e-cigarettes and similar personal electric vaporizing devices” is US$8.15/unit.
Among them, “e-cigarettes and similar personal electric vaping devices” accounts for 55% of the export categories. While “Products containing nicotine, intended for inhalation without combustion” accounted for 45%.
According to Statista data, in France, the e-cigarette market revenue is expected to reach US$1.1 billion in 2023.
In addition, the market annual growth rate is expected to be 0.72% (compound annual growth rate from 2023 to 2028). In terms of per capita income, in 2023 Per capita e-cigarette consumption in France is US$19.23. France e-cigarette market continues to boom. But French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne announces that a bill banning the sale of disposable e-cigarettes will be passed by the end of this year.
China is the largest vaporizing devices main source country of France.
According to Eurostat, the total import value of e-cigarette devices to France is 304 million euros in 2022. The top three main source countries are: China (64.2%), Belgium (21.2%) and the Netherlands (5.9%).
Moreover, comparing with the neighboring country Germany, France plays a lower role in vapes logistics transfer. Its import vaping devices are mainly using for domestic consumption. And more than 80% of imported e-cigarettes are consumed in the country.
