Recently, a German health insurance company calls for a nationwide ban on disposable vapes. Well-known vape manufacturer, VPFIT comments about this.
Vape use is increasing in Germany
According to a survey by German health insurance company DAK-Gesundheit, 7% of 15,000 teenagers aged 9-17 surveyed said they use nicotine-containing vapes at least once a month. This number has grown over the past year, from 5% to 7%.
Therefore, the company calls for a nationwide ban on disposable vapes in Germany.
According to its most recent survey, adolescent use of traditional cigarettes and hookahs has declined since 2016, but use of vapes is increasing.
For the first time since the survey began in 2016, more students regularly use vape devices than traditional cigarettes or hookahs.

In Germany, the sale of vapes to people under the age of 18 is prohibited. Ollie also dismissed the idea that vapes would turn teenagers toward traditional cigarettes. Vape Manufacturer comment on banning disposable vapes
VPFIT, a top vape manufacturer from China, does not believe that banning disposable vapes can be a useful solution.
Firstly, disposable vapes can serve as a harm reduction tool for adult smokers looking to transition away from combustible tobacco products. Banning disposable vapes could limit access to a potentially less harmful alternative and hinder smoking cessation efforts.
In addition, banning disposable vapes may result in a market shift towards other vaping products and traditional cigarette. This could lead to unintended consequences.
Moreover, to avoid teenagers from getting vaping devices, totally ban disposable vapes is not the final way. This need the vape manufacturers, vape distributors, retail stores, resellers and the government agencies all act together.
